HANNAH ROSE is a musical theatre performer and teacher, residing in Highland Park. Her Chicagoland credits include The Pajama Game (Babe), directed by Dominic Missimi, Into the Woods (Witch), CATS, and 42nd Street. A graduate of DePaul University (BMusEd), Hannah has enjoyed a varied career as a general and instrumental music teacher, a music director for area theatre companies, an early childhood music teacher, and is the current music director for Glencoe Park District’s Broadway Bound program for elementary students. She has participated in various readings and concerts, including a performance of Ragtime at NYC’s Lincoln Center, starring Norm Lewis, Lea Salonga, and Tyne Daly. Each day she is grateful for the gift of music, for gracious collaborators, and for her beloved family.
Rachel whtye, vocals
RACHEL WHYTE is delighted to be singing these timeless tunes for you tonight! She met the orchestra founders a little over a year ago while performing in her Chicago debut as Janet in The Drowsy Chaperone at Skokie Theatre. Other Chicago credits include: Grand Hotel (Kokandy Productions), Par for the Corpse (Oil Lamp Theater), November (Habakkuk Theatre), A Christmas Carol (MPAC), and multiple shows with Chicago Kids Company. She is a proud Abilene Christian University MT alum, and loving wife of Evan. Many thanks to Aaron and Michael for thinking of her for this special occasion. Currently in It's A Wonderful Life: The Radio Play at Oil Lamp Theater through December 30th in Glenview, and tapping her heart out this spring in Dames at Sea with Theatre At The Center. Joe lewis, vocals
Joe Lewis is ecstatic to perform with the JAM Orchestra! A native of the Chicago area, Joe is an avid singer, actor, and music educator. Favorite recent productions include Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour) and Into the Woods (Jack) with Deerfield Family Theatre, The Drowsy Chaperone (George) with MadKap Productions, Side by Side by Sondheim (Bobby) with Four Star Arts, and cabaret collaborations at the Skokie Theater and Davenport's Piano Bar. Joe teaches music, choir, and drama at Sunset Ridge School where he also directs the annual musical. He received his bachelor of music education degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and recently completed his masters of music education at VanderCook College of Music.
